This is the body care routine I come back to when I want my skin to feel smooth, hydrated, and a little more elevated day to day.
I tend to keep things pretty simple, but I like having a mix of gentle exfoliation and hydration so my skin always feels balanced. These are the products I rotate through depending on what my skin needs.
Cleansing and Daily Exfoliation
• Cyklar Sensorial Body Wash
This is an all-time favorite for me. The formula is moisturizing and never leaves my skin feeling stripped, and the scent is one of the best. Vanilla Verve is a more sophisticated, slightly spicy vanilla that doesn’t lean overly sweet, which I really like for everyday.
• Evridwear Exfoliating Dual Texture Bath Gloves
I use these daily with my body wash. They are a simple way to keep skin feeling clean and gently exfoliated without having to think about it too much. They have a good amount of texture and hold up well over time, especially for how inexpensive they are.
Targeted Exfoliation
• Cyklar Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Spray
This is one of the easiest ways I’ve found to use an acid on the body. After showering and towel drying, I spray it on and let it absorb before applying lotion. It helps keep my skin smooth without adding much effort to my routine.
• Platinum Triple Treat Body Lotion
This is another way I like to incorporate exfoliation. It works well when I want something a little more active, but I don’t use it on the same days as the Cyklar spray. I usually alternate between the two depending on what my skin needs.
Hydration and Glow
• Prequel Urea Advanced Relief Body Lotion
This is a favorite. It’s lightweight but still deeply hydrating and softening, which can be hard to find in one product. It absorbs quickly and works well year-round.
• Naturium The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Butter
This has a lighter, whipped texture that feels different from traditional body butters. It is very hydrating and leaves a soft glow on the skin. The scent is a light vanilla that layers well with other products.
• Cyklar Vitamin C Body Oil (Vanilla Verve)
I like to use this on top of lotion to lock everything in. It adds a really nice sheen to the skin and the scent is just as good as the body wash. The packaging also feels a little more elevated.
How I put it all together
On a typical day, I’ll use the body wash with the exfoliating gloves in the shower, then follow with either the glycolic spray or nothing depending on my skin. After that, I’ll go in with a lotion, and sometimes finish with the body oil on top.
I try not to overdo exfoliation and just rotate between products so my skin stays smooth without becoming irritated.
Final thoughts
This is a routine that feels easy to keep up with but still makes a noticeable difference. The combination of gentle exfoliation and lightweight hydration keeps my skin consistently smooth without having to add a lot of extra steps.
Most of these are products I’ve repurchased or plan to, which is usually the best sign for me that something is worth keeping in rotation.
