Makeup Products I’m Currently Testing

Lately I’ve been trying a mix of affordable makeup finds, easy summer products and a few things that immediately caught my attention while browsing.

Some of these were impulse purchases, some were products I kept hearing good things about and a few were shades that felt perfect for heading into warmer weather.

Here’s what I’m currently testing

  • SheGlam Enigma Eyeshadow in Carats
  • Moira Love Blur Blush in Yearning
  • SheGlam Starstruck Cream Eyeshadow in Veiled
  • Etude Dr. Mascara Fixer in Natural
  • Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double Take Blush Duo in Soft Launch & She’s That Girl
  • Revlon PhotoReady Blue Lip Liner in Lazy
  • L’Oréal Blurfiller Blurring Lip Contour in Brown Caramel & Nude Espresso
  • Milani Gilded Eyeshadow Stick in Blossom
  • Sephora Collection Best Skin Ever Ultra Slim Precision Concealer in 15N Medium

  • Bobbi Brown Crystal Eyes Shimmer Eyeshadow Stick in Brilliant Pink
  • Haus Labs Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm in Glassy Ginger

I’ve been gravitating toward softer blushes, easy cream shadows and products that make my makeup look a little more polished without feeling heavy, especially while traveling and dealing with some skin sensitivity lately.

A Few Early Thoughts –

The Patrick Ta blush duos are two shades I’ve really been wanting to pick up for spring into summer. I already know I love the formula, and both colors are bright without feeling overly intense.

The Bobbi Brown Crystal Eyes Shadow Stick is gorgeous and reminds me a lot of the Danessa Myricks Colorfix Stix formula, which I love.

The Milani eyeshadow stick is a beautiful formula and the color is really pretty, though I think I’d personally prefer a slightly warmer shade going into summer.

The Revlon lip liner has honestly been one of the biggest surprises for me so far. I love the color and how easy the formula is to apply on the go.

The L’Oréal Blurfiller lip liners have also been really good. They have more staying power than I expected for a softer blurring-style lip product while still looking smooth and easy to wear.

I’ll share more detailed thoughts once I’ve tested everything a bit longer, but these are the products currently in rotation.
