First Thoughts on Dazzle Dry

I’ve never been someone who keeps up with ongoing gel manicures. Maybe one day I’ll fully convert, but for now I’m still more interested in finding regular nail polish systems that last longer without the removal process and maintenance of constant gel.

Since I travel so much, I mostly just want my nails to stay looking polished through flights, work trips and weekends away without having to think about them.

For the last year, my strategy has just been wearing silver nail polish while traveling because it hides chips surprisingly well. It’s still one of my favorite tricks for longer trips.

Recently though, I started experimenting with longer-wearing polish systems, including the Manucurist Green Flash system and now Dazzle Dry.

Right now I’m testing In The Moment, a really vibrant orchid shade, from Dazzle Dry and so far I’ve been impressed. My nails are on the weaker side and tend to flex a lot, so regular nail polish usually only lasts around 3-4 days on me before I start seeing chips. With Dazzle Dry, I’ve been getting closer to 6-7 days of wear before I notice more obvious wear, which feels significantly better than most traditional polish systems I’ve tried.

What I especially like so far is that Dazzle Dry still has the ease of regular nail polish. It dries incredibly fast and removes like traditional polish, so you don’t have to deal with soaking, scraping or a more involved removal process, while still giving noticeably longer wear and a more polished finish.

I’m still testing it and seeing how it performs over time, but at least right now, it feels like a really good middle ground between traditional polish and gel.
