Another round of empties, what I’ve finished recently and whether I’d repurchase. I always find empties more useful than first impressions because actually finishing a product usually tells you a lot more about whether it’s worth buying again.
Already repurchased
• Crown Affair The Finishing Gel
I love this for both smoothing and adding texture. It never feels sticky or heavy, and when you brush it out it doesn’t leave behind any white residue.
• Prequel Urea Advanced Relief
My current favorite body lotion. Lightweight, but still genuinely hydrating and softening.
• Cyklar Sensorial Body Wash
Vanilla Verve and Sacred Santal are my favorite scents from the line. Both feel elevated without being overpowering, and the formula leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.
• HIMS Hair Regrowth Treatment
I’ve been using this consistently for more than six months and I’m finally seeing a lot of the new growth come in. This is one of those products where consistency really matters.
• Ziip Electric Complex Conductive Gel
I use this with my Ziip Halo and keep coming back to it because it doesn’t dry out mid-treatment like some conductive gels do.
• Make Up For Ever Hydra Glow Foundation
One of the few foundations I consistently repurchase. It gives my skin a healthy glow without looking heavy.
Finished and would repurchase
• Naturium Multi-Peptide Moisturizer
A reliable moisturizer that layers well under makeup and works with pretty much everything.
• Calecim Multi-Action Cream
I use this more as a treatment product, especially for firming. I notice a difference when I stop using it.
• Kérastase Genesis Shampoo for Dry Hair
Cleans well without drying my hair out, which is all I really want from a shampoo.
• Apagard Royal Toothpaste
My dentist recommended switching to a nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste for enamel remineralization. I started with Apagard Premio, then moved to Royal because it has a higher concentration of nHA. It leaves my teeth looking noticeably smoother and glossier.
• Colgate Optic White Toothpaste
I usually use this in the morning since it feels much fresher and mintier than Apagard. I also like the whitening boost.
• One Size Powder Melt Setting Spray
One of the best setting sprays I’ve tried for making makeup look more skin-like again after powder.
• L’Oréal Extensionist Waterproof Mascara
Great for length and holding a lash curl in place. I like using this as a base mascara before layering others on top.
• Hourglass Caution Mascara
Adds more volume and drama. I rotate mascaras a lot, but this is one I’d come back to.
• Farmacy Honey Vanilla Clean Cleansing Balm
Removes makeup easily and leaves my skin feeling comfortable afterward. And, I love this scent.
• Patrick Ta Major Glow Balm
Adds a glossy highlight without glitter. I especially like it in the summer on my shoulders and décolleté.
• Systane Pro PF Eye Drops
One of those products I always keep around. They help a lot when my eyes are feeling dry or irritated. This version is much thicker than other eye drops I use, so it’s good to use first thing in the morning or at night when my eyes need added moisture.
• City Beauty Line Blurring Wrinkle Filler
Works well under makeup when I want to soften the look of fine lines a bit. I use this most days under my concealer.
• Prequel Foot Rescue
Simple, effective, and keeps my feet smooth without feeling greasy.
Wouldn’t repurchase
• E.L.F Clean Queen Solid Brush and Sponge Cleaner
This just took more effort than I wanted it to. I have other brush cleansers that work better.
Final thoughts
I try a lot of products, but the ones I consistently finish and repurchase are usually the best indicator of what’s actually worth keeping around. I like trying new things, but I also really appreciate having a few staples I know I can count on.
